Her journey into the sports world spans over a decade as a dedicated member of the Houston Astros broadcast team. As she gears up for her 12th season, you can catch her bringing her expertise and love for the game to life on the Astros and Rockets pre and postgame shows. The thrill of live broadcasts and the camaraderie of the sports community fuel her enthusiasm every day.

Among the many milestones in her career, Julia has been honored with four Emmy Awards for her contributions to the weekly show 'Astros Bases Loaded' and my overall broadcasting excellence. However, her broadcasting adventure began in sports reporting. During her tenure at Time Warner Cable News in Austin, she covered prestigious events such as the Super Bowl, NBA Finals, World Series, and College Baseball World Series and began her television career at KTEN-TV in Denison, Texas.

A native of Crandall, Texas, Morales spent two years as a “World Famous Kilgore College Rangerette” before graduating from the University of Texas at Austin.  While at UT, Julia acquired her degree in broadcast journalism and was a member of Texas Pom during the Longhorns’ 2005 National Championship season.
